The Central Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Child Care Agency provides a recognised entity service under the Child Protection Act 1999.

The organisation also provides alternative care services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people who have entered the child protection system and foster carers providing out of home care.

As part of the delivery of child protection services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, CQAICCA Inc operates an Alternative Care service that meets the standards of the SFC licensing requirements, the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principle and the Child Protection Act.

Our primary area of service provision is in Rockhampton, Mount Morgan, Woorabinda and the Capricorn Coast.

Our services are provided on an outreach basis to Child Safety Service Centres in Gladstone, Emerald and other areas within Central Queensland, subject to resource availability.
